President John Cavanaugh
Mr. Cavanaugh has over 23 years of experience
in creating solutions where information technology dramatically improves the
customer's bottom line. Mr. Cavanaugh brings extensive experience in management,
internet technology solutions and exacting supply chain projects to his role as
President in IISC. In the 90's, Mr. Cavanaugh has held various positions,
including Vice President of Sales for EXE Technologies and Celerity Solutions,
Inc. He has developed client server and object oriented supply chain systems for
various Fortune 500 companies. His career began in the 70's with military
projects such as the Cruise Missile and M-1 Tank and proceeded into procurement
and inventory control systems for the largest secondary copper and gold refinery
in the world. He has a demonstrated track record in the logistics and supply
chain arena of solutions. Mr. Cavanaugh has a Bachelors Degree in Electrical
Engineering and MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Management.
Practice Leader - Financial Services Joe Bartoloni
Joe Bartoloni has over 25 years of extensive experience in managing strategic relationships, engagements and business development initiatives for financial institutions as well as service providers. As a Managing Director at CIBC and a Partner in the Financial Services practice at Perot Systems, he worked very closely with all aspects of organizations, understanding business processes and support requirements with the focus on improving profitability while building strong foundations for future growth. His experience includes global stints in Europe, Asia and Canada and his domain focus has been Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance. More recently Joe helped manage MetLife's integration of Traveler's Life and Annuities businesses working closely with an offshore company; and Merrill Lynch validate and roll out its Wealth Management Platform Joe also serves as an external advisor to a spinoff Loan Origination company. He holds an MBA from NYU Stern in Finance and a BS in Computer Applications and Information Systems. He is a past president of a Toastmasters International Chapter and a Director of his Local Civic Association.
Practice Leader - Education Instructional Design Elizabeth Coogan
Elizabeth Coogan has over 20 years operations, product management and administrative positions in the banking and financial services industry. She is an Instructor in the Economics and Finance Department of Nassau Community College and most recently a Vice President in the Commercial Group at JPMorgan Chase. She owned a business to educate young children outside the traditional education system.
Elizabeth has a commitment to improving young consumers’ understanding of personal finance. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Commerce Plaza, Inc -- a unique experience for children that combines education and employment in an effort to help build a stronger future work force for the Long Island Business Community. Elizabeth provided consulting services to the NY State Financial Literacy Coalition and the NYS Banking Department Financial Empowerment Clearinghouse. Additionally, Elizabeth has been a guest speaker at various community groups and schools where she shares her passion and enthusiasm for the need to know and understand basic personal financial skills such as budgeting, credit, insurance, and retirement planning.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University and an MBA in Finance from Adelphi University.
Practice Leader - Enterprise Engineering Ron Cowley
Ron Cowley has
over 40 years experience in Information Technology and Enterprise Engineering.
Mr. Cowley brings his background as the lead designer/developer of the patented
High Performance Enterprise Engineering (HPEE) methodology and tools to his role
as a senior consultant with IISC who focuses on business process modeling and
re-engineering. Mr. Cowley has served as the CIO for the Federal Reserve Bank of
Philadelphia and the GPU Nuclear Corporation. He has been an Enterprise Engineering
consultant for the past 20 years in banking, nuclear power, healthcare,
transportation, manufacturing and retail marketing industries. A frequent
speaker at industry conferences and a published author, Mr. Cowley has his
college degree in Business Management.
Practice Leader - Quality Improvement Jim Urbaniak
Jim Urbaniak is a recognized industry expert in
the development and evaluation of Continuous Quality Improvement programs for
electric utilities with over 30 years of process and quality management in the
power generation and petroleum industries. In his role as senior consultant with
IISC, Mr. Urbaniak focuses on business process modeling and re-engineering. Mr.
Urbaniak was granted a U.S. Department of Energy "Q" security clearance for
several projects where he resolved problems in nuclear power generation
facilities, including Savannah River.
He was responsible training the Dupont senior management quality team that
managed this facility and has managed the development and implementation of
quality programs on a national and international basis. Several re-engineering
and program development projects were specifically aimed at improvement of
engineering processes, design control, configuration management, records
management, and change management, for mission critical applications.
Previously, Mr. Urbaniak was a co-founder of Metalogics and served as the
company president. Other employers have included Gilbert/Commonwealth and
Pennsylvania Power and Light Company. Mr. Urbaniak has his college degree from
Wilkes University.
Managing Director - Business Scientific Australia (BSA) Jerry Whitcomb
Jerry Whitcomb
has more than thirty years experience in international business development,
strategic planning, professional services, logistics, and distribution
operations. His global reach has included Australia,
France, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore and the United Kingdom. In his
role as Managing Director, Mr. Whitcomb will manage our new Australian company
Business Scientific Australia Pty LTD. He will utilize his broad range of cross
industry experience in management and logistics of business and software
development to insure the timely delivery of BSA's Enterprise Process
modeling/re-engineering (EPM) and Enterprise Data Exchange Platform (EDEP) rapid
prototypes to our clients.
Most recently, Mr. Whitcomb served as the Sydney
based Asia Pacific Managing Director for TRW's MARC Global Holdings where he
developed business alliances and set the strategic direction. Previously, he
worked as Product Manager for Dun and Bradstreet Software where he also handled
international sales. Other previous employers include Distribution Research
Associates, Uniteq Application Systems, Scotty's, Inc and several startup
software companies. Mr. Whitcomb has authored articles on distribution and been
a frequent speaker at distribution and logistics seminars in the U.S. and
abroad. He holds a Master of Commercial Science degree from Rollins College.
